The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Caraga’s conduct of community assemblies for its implementation of Set 12 registration for potential household beneficiaries are “well-organized” and “efficient”, according to a team from the Central Office who visited the region recently.
The team from the 4Ps National Program Management Office, composed of Project Development Officers Analiza Soliven of Risk Management Quality Assurance Division, Erwin Berja of the Grievance Redress Division, Rodrigo Raymund Duran of the Beneficiary Data Management Division, and Gizelle Grace Ciudad of the Office of the Deputy Program Manager for Operations, visited the municipality of Barobo, Surigao del Sur province, to observe how the 4Ps Caraga Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) conducted the Set 12 registration.
Their visit was aimed to ensure that the conduct of validation and registration of potential households are in accordance with the approved policies and guidelines of the Program. They also want to address the issues and concerns confronting the field implementers in the validation and registration.
The team’s feedback report shows that the venue for the community assembly at Barobo Municipal Gymnasium was well-organized and that all crucial systems/offices such as the Grievance Quality Assurance and Local Social Welfare Development Office were represented, adding that the setup and activity flow of the event was well-organized.
They also commended RPMO’s provision of equipment such as printers and scanners to assist beneficiaries with lacking documents; presentation of 4Ps videos to the beneficiaries, and orderly arrangement of the venue for a smooth registration process
Moreover, the team also commended RPMO’s immediate answers to concerns of beneficiaries pertaining registration as well as the local government unit’s support to the activity.
The beneficiaries that went to the venue were from barangays Dapdap, Kinayan, Poblacion, Rizal, Sua and Wakat. Some 365 households from these areas are targeted to be registered for the Program.
In Caraga Region, the Program targets to register and validate 51,113 households. As of March 7, 2023, a total of 44,633 out of the target 51,113 households have already been validated.
