The heavy rain on March 31, 2023 failed to dampen the community volunteerism as well as the turnover ceremony of construction of concrete pathway under the KALAHI-CIDSS PAMANA IPCDD in Barangay Pangyan, Trento, Agusan Del Sur.
The inauguration and turnover ceremony was conducted through the help of the MLGU, BLGU and Area Coordinating Team . The said subproject, which cost Php3,586,000.00, will help the 141 households of Barangay Pangyan who have difficulties in traversing their footpaths to and from their barangays.
KALAHI-CIDSS, which stands for Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services, is one of the poverty alleviation program of the National Government implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
