The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga conducted a 3-day Regional Disaster Response Management Conference 2023 (RDRMC), spearheaded by the Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD), at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, April 26-28, 2023.

 

The RDRMC aims to strengthen the coordination and among key intermediaries along the disaster response by communicating recent policies and guidelines, review and evaluate the current practices for program enhancement, and recognize the performance and innovative efforts of the Local Government Units (LGU) in implementing the DSWD’s Disaster Risk Reduction Management programs and services.

 

On behalf of Regional Director Mari-Flor A. Dollaga, Assistant Regional Director for Operations Jean Paul S. Parajes, welcomed the participants to the 3-day activity.

 

ARDO Parajes encouraged all participants to continue rendering #MaagapAtMapagkalingangSerbisyo, through its disaster services. “What we are today and who we are becoming are the result of our hard work in the past and I am humbled to say that we already made our history and you will always be a part of it.
