Field Office Caraga Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga welcomed all the participants during the opening program on May 16. She was hopeful the Field Office will be able to deliver as hosts for the said workshop.
“The Development of the Project Design for this endeavor is very critical – which means we really need to have a conducive venue for the discussion of the nitty-gritty of this program. The Field Office will try our best to accommodate all the possible needs to make this activity a success,” Dir. Dollaga said.
DSWD is working with the World Food Programme (WFP) in the said workshop since the latter has already implemented several anti-hunger programs providing aid during their Typhoon Odette relief way back 2021-2022, in Caraga.

“Caraga Region is a World Food Programme area that uses the SCOPE system, which will be utilized in the pilot implementation for the program. I guess this is one of the reasons for choosing Caraga as the venue for this activity. But more than this, I hope that Caraga has been considered for being one of the most accommodating, and most viable hosts for Central Office-Initiated activities,” Dir. Dollaga added in her welcome message.
Dir. Marcelo Nicomedes Castillo (Director IV) of the Social Technology Bureau thanked the Field Office for accommodating the guests and participants, and was hopeful that the said writeshop will be a success.
Giorgi Dolidze (Head of Program for the WFP), expressed their organization’s eagerness to work with DSWD in the workshop since WFP has the experience and the technology in implementing such program.
