RRP-CFW beneficiaries worked for the tree-growing project in Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte.

In the hope of expediting payouts, the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office Caraga conducted its first leg of payouts for the Risk Resiliency Program—Cash for Work (RRP-CFW) in the 6 barangays of Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, on June 14, 2023.

 

A total of 1,551 RRP-CFW beneficiaries from the 6 barangays of the municipality – Canaway, Jaliobong, Songkoy, Sangay, Poblacion, and Crossing—received their compensation for the 10-day duration of work. The schedule of payouts for other municipalities in Caraga will follow in the coming days.

 

RRP-CFW is a program that seeks to strengthen the resiliency of both natural systems and urban built environments while providing income support to the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized.
