Participating teachers and students of the 2nd quarter NSED 2023.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga participates in the conduct of the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) of the Office of the Civil Defense at Agusan National High School, on June 8, 2023.

 

On behalf of Regional Director Mari-Flor A. Dollaga, Disaster Response Management Division’s Chief Melanie G. Juan, delivered a message to the participating teachers and students of ANHS.

Melanie G. Juan welcomed the participants from the Agusan National High School.

“Preparedness goes a long way in our survival from any devastating earthquake – and being prepared starts with our willingness to learn. Together, let us be proactive citizens, always ready to serve the community, especially during times of disaster. On behalf of the angels in red vests of DSWD, rest assured that DSWD Field Office Caraga is with you in ensuring that every Caraganon is prepared for any disaster”, DC Juan shared.

 

Meanwhile, together with other disaster vice chairpersons, DSWD serves as an earthquake drill evaluator to assess and make necessary remarks on the activity to ensure proper conduct and procedures.
