The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office (FO) Caraga Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) conducts its 2nd Quarter Meeting with the Local Focal Persons from the Local Government Units (LGU) at the DSWD Field Office Conference Room on June 09, 2023.
Participants of the activity are Focal Persons of the Local Social Welfare Development Offices (LSWDOs) from the Provinces of Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur.
Discussions circled on the 13th cycle status of the LGUs and preparation for the implementation at their level. Moreover, status of the unliquidated funds from the 12th cycle and previous cycles were also tackled.
In addition, the activity is an avenue to update participants of all pertinent guidelines of the program to level-off on the issues and concerns that need immediate action by the SFP.
The Supplementary Feeding Program is the provision of food in addition to the regular meals to children currently enrolled in the day care centers as part of the DSWD’s contribution to the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program of the government.
