In the humble town of Carmen, Surigao del Sur, there resides a remarkable man named Belarmino L. Yangyang. He is the husband of Rosie Yangyang, an active 4Ps member of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of Brgy. Poblacion.

At the age of 53, Belarmino dons multiple roles with grace and devotion. As a loving father, dedicated mayor sakristan, lay minister, and hardworking farmer, he exemplifies the qualities of leadership, spirituality, and unwavering love. Belarmino’s guidance and selfless actions have shaped a harmonious family life, where love and faith thrive.

Belarmino’s unwavering commitment to his family begins with his role as the head of the household. Despite his occupation as Mayor Sakristan, earning a modest income of 1,000 pesos per week, he ensures that his family’s needs are met.

With admirable diligence, he works tirelessly to provide for his wife, Rosie Yangyang, and their children. Belarmino understands that being a provider extends beyond financial support. He takes on the responsibility of guiding his family spiritually, making God the center of their lives.

On the other hand, Belarmino’s dedication to public service extends beyond his familial responsibilities. As a member of the local farmers’ association from 2005 to 2015, he actively contributed to the welfare and advancement of his fellow farmers.

Belarmino and Rosie have created a loving and peaceful environment in their abode. They have twelve children, four of whom are now married, and sadly, two have passed away.

Despite facing challenges in life, Belarmino’s unwavering love and guidance have helped their family stay together and overcome difficulties. As their children focus on their education, with Liza in grade 11, Jessa in grade 10, and John Billy in grade 6, Belarmino makes sure to provide them with the necessary support and encouragement to succeed.

Belarmino, a pillar of strength, has built a life centered on love, spirituality, and unwavering dedication. Through his roles as a provider, a spiritual guide, and a leader in the community, Belarmino exemplifies the essence of a model father. He nurtures a harmonious home, where his children grow with a strong moral compass and a foundation of faith.

Belarmino’s love knows no bounds, as he selflessly supports his family, cultivating an environment where love, respect, and spiritual growth thrive.
