To acknowledge the hard work and diligence of the development workers of the program in the first semester of 2023, the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of DSWD Field Office Caraga held a blended awarding ceremony on July 31, 2023.
Fifteen project development officers (PDOs) with the highest individual performance ratings during the semester were recognized and awarded certificates. Special awards were also given, such as Best PDO of the Semester for the most outstanding workers, Most Innovative PDO for workers who have taken innovative approaches in crafting project proposals, and Rising Star PDO for newly-hired staff who performed exceptionally.
This SLP Regional Program Management Office initiative, led by Regional Program Coordinator (RPC) Renante Abendanio, aims to commend program workers who exerted extra efforts to reach targets and accomplish deliverables within the set timeline. This way, other workers are motivated to perform better the following semester.
With RPC Abendanio, OIC-Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Jean Paul Parajes led the awarding ceremony. ARDO Parajes congratulated all the workers and encouraged them to strive and serve more communities in the region needing the program’s service.
“I put my full trust and confidence in you,” ARDO Parajes said as he concluded his message.
SLP is a capacity-building program of the Department that aims to help improve the socio-economic conditions of the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized households and communities through accessing and acquiring necessary assets to engage in and maintain thriving livelihoods.
