30 social work students complete internship at DSWD Field Office Caraga

On July 21, 2023, thirty social work students from Caraga State University and Holy Child Colleges of Butuan convened at the DSWD Covered Court, Field Office, to conclude their internship at the Field Office.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga held a culmination program for 30 Social Work interns from the Caraga State University (CSU) – Main Campus and Holy Child Colleges of Butuan to mark the completion of the students’ 600-hour internship at the Field Office on Friday, July 21, 2023.

On behalf of the interns, Ira Alaan from CSU expressed their gratitude to the Field Office under the leadership of Director Mari-Flor Dollaga for providing them with opportunities to learn and to become good social workers in the future.

“Thank you for welcoming us wholeheartedly and allowing us to be part of the DSWD milestone and what it feels like to be a Mangagawang Pilipino,” Alaan said.
