Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office (FO) Caraga conducts Child Development Workers (CDW) Customer Service Training cum Regional Federation of CDWs Strategic Planning and Workshop – July 13-14, 2023 at Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City.
The activity aims to further capacitate Child Development Workers in terms of service towards clients on the field, being partners in delivering social welfare and development programs. Moreover, this is to recognize their valuable efforts of continued service in bringing quality care and education to children in their respective communities.
Participants of the workshop are officers of the Regional, Provincial, and City Federation of Child Development Workers. They also received educational toys and learning materials from UNICEF for utilization in their respective centers for development.
In her message, Sectoral Unit Head Ms. Elsa Jamora emphasized CDWs’ vital role as second parents of children, molding them to become citizens who, in the future, will contribute to the welfare of society. Thus, DSWD furthers its efforts to strengthen the partnership to effectively live up to its mandate and deliver a maagap at mapagkalingang serbisyo.
