The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga discussed, answered queries about the National Anti-Trafficking in Persons Awareness Month Celebration — July 20, 2023.

Protective Services Division (PSD) Chief Jessie Catherine B. Aranas discussed activities of the Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Trafficking – Violence Against Women and their Children (RIACAT/VAWC) for the month-long celebration, issues on trafficking in persons in Caraga, and interventions given to victims of trafficking.

Furthermore, Aranas announced the upcoming Culmination activity and awarding of the LCAT-VAWCs and Soft Launching of the Final 2023-2028 Strategic Plan for RIACAT-VAWC to be held at SM City Butuan Events Center on July 31.

Field Office Caraga extends gratitude to the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga and SM City Butuan for the chance to promote the advocacy on their platform Kapihan, where media partners are invited — giving a wider reach for the Agency’s missions to serve and protect.
