The culmination aims to recognize the efforts of the members of the Local Committee on Anti-trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) as well as the prosecution who are partners of victim-survivors in the pursuit of justice— the champions that sustained the Philippines being Tier 1 Level, based on the US Department Trafficking in Persons Report, for eight consecutive years.

Best efforts. ARDO Jean Paul S. Parajes delivers message to open the culmination activity stating the continued efforts of DSWD Caraga with inter-agencies in combatting trafficking in persons in the region.

Alongside DSWD FO Caraga for today’s activity were the member agencies of the the Regional Inter-agency Committee on Anti-trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (RIACAT-VAWC) and the Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC).

The month-long celebration ends today, but the emphasis on the commitment of the inter-agencies composing RIACAT-VAWC to continue working for the protection and rehabilitation of the victim-survivors of trafficking in persons, continues.

Commitment. PSD Chief Jessie Catherine Aranas participates in posting commitment stickers on the wall to express support for the campaign against trafficking in persons.
