The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga participates in the Kalinga Alay sa Katutubo: National Commission Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Caraga Service Caravan at Brgy. Kasapa I, Loreto, Agusan del Sur—August 11, 2023.

24 pregnant women and 2 senior citizens received hygiene kits through the Crisis Intervention Section (CIS). Moreover, Agusan del Sur Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) Office Team Leader Michael Andohuyan took the opportunity to discuss the different programs and services of the Field Office to the community.

With the theme, “Access to Basic Services for the Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs),” the Field Office is grateful to NCIP Caraga for the continued partnership and for the opportunity to bring the Agency’s programs and services to the ICCs/IPs in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs).
