To effectively target the poorest of the poor, several Local Government Units (LGUs) have partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga to access the Listahanan 3 database.

Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga personally handed the updated database to Mayor Joselito Roble of Buenavista, Agusan del Norte and Mayor Justin Marc Pelenio of Marihatag, Surigao del Sur on August 7, 2023 and August 11, 2023 respectively. This was after both parties have signed the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) and complied all the necessary requirements in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

On August 15, 2023, another database turnover was conducted in the municipalities of Surigao del Sur. Mayor Novelita Sarmen of Lianga and Mayor Betty Pimentel received the database from Listahanan Head Adelito Mendoza.

On the other hand, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Minerva Lumogdang also received the electronic database on August 16, 2023.

After the ceremonial turnover, Regional Information Technology Officer (RITO) Raffy Pocon conducted orientation to the authorized personnel who were given access to use the database. This includes how to transact, process, and safeguard the said database against unlawful use.

To date, the Listahanan team is making rounds in the municipalities of Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Norte to advocate the use of Listahanan. During the visits, the team emphasized the importance of leveraging Listahanan for effective social protection and poverty alleviation efforts in their respective localities.  ###(Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga).
