DSWD conducts CFW monitoring for effective implementation

The monitoring team, the beneficiaries, and PLGU ADS are on their way to the rubber growing area in Talacogon, ADS.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office, through its Disaster Response Management Bureau (DRMB), paid a courtesy visit, on September 25, 2023, with DSWD Field Office Caraga as they conduct a Monitoring and Technical Assistance (MATA) to the regional implementers of the Risk Resiliency Program—Cash for Work (RRP-CFW).

Assistant Regional Director for Operations Jean Paul Parajes welcomed the DRMB CO, headed by Roderick Guisadio, the National Program Focal, along with the finance and capacity-building focal persons.

The monitoring team from the DRMB, led by Roderick Guisadio, the National Program Focal, paid a visit to Assistant Regional Director for Operations Jean Paul Parajes.

Afterward, the team proceeded to the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Agusan del Sur, where FO Caraga presented the projects and accomplishments for Agusan del Sur.

During the visit, the team conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with some of the Risk Resiliency Program—Cash for Work (RRP-CFW) beneficiaries.

FGD formed part of Monitoring and Technical Assistance (MATA), aimed at ensuring that RRP-CFW is responsive to the needs and aspirations of the beneficiaries while also enhancing the program’s effectiveness and impact.
