DSWD Caraga Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) opened its doors to DSWD Field Office 10 (Region X) for their benchmarking activity, yesterday, January 31, 2024.

Led by RRCY Center Head Ms. Vilma Bare, the Caraga team warmly received counterparts headed by Region X RRCY Center Head Ms. Daisy Ramos. The visit unfolded with a comprehensive tour of the RRCY facilities, showcasing the innovative programs and infrastructure designed for youth rehabilitation.

Impressed by the conducive environment and holistic approach to rehabilitation at RRCY, Ms. Ramos expressed admiration for the center’s practices. She expressed Field Office X’s keen interest in adopting similar strategies within their region.

The exchange highlighted the collaborative spirit between DSWD Field Offices and underscored the commitment to enhancing the quality of care and services for vulnerable youth populations.

DSWD Caraga takes pride in its Centers and Residential Care Facilities (CRCFs), both level 3 accredited, as it continues to set a benchmark for excellence in children and youth rehabilitation and enhancing their social functioning.
