“The PNP undertakes public awareness campaigns through diverse media channels, community orientations, and awareness programs, often in collaboration with the DSWD. These initiatives aim to educate the public about the challenges faced by vulnerable sectors, their rights, and the various laws that advocate for and protect the rights of children, women, and members of the LGBTQ community. This concerted effort supports the department’s advocacy to diminish stigma and discrimination while fostering a more inclusive and supportive community,” Dir. Dollaga added.
The event served as a poignant reminder of the collective responsibility to create a society where every woman and child is protected, empowered, and allowed to thrive. Director Dollaga’s message resonated deeply with attendees, reaffirming the PNP and DSWD’s commitment to work hand in hand towards building safer and more inclusive communities.
