To enhance the delivery of services to our diverse stakeholders, members of the Caraga Social Welfare and Development Learning Network (SWD LNet) convened on April 4, 2024, for a Quarterly Meeting.
Organizing this meeting aims to foster collaboration, exchange valuable insights, and strengthen the collective capacity to address challenges and achieve shared goals effectively and efficiently among members.
The network has also planned some activities for this quarter, such as training on effective communication, Knowledge on Wheels, and the adoption of school/school gardening.
SWD L-Net is also recognized as an external Core Group of Specialists (CGS) for the DSWD Academy- which aims to offer capacity-building opportunities to develop competencies needed in the delivery of social welfare and development programs and services, acknowledges the contribution of the external partners and their expertise in contributing to the objectives of the academy.
The DSWD founded SWD LNet under Administrative Order 20 s. 2005, which mandated its creation to offer technical assistance to stakeholders and intermediaries, ensuring high-quality service delivery. This initiative aims to optimize available resources through a network of learning institutions, addressing the increasing need for capability building within the sector.
