The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga awards Php 100,000.00 to Lola Froilana Sabas Perez, 108 years old, from Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur last May 2, 2024.

Moreover, Lola Froilana received a Certificate of Recognition from the Field Office and a Letter of Felicitation from the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

The activity is in accordance with Republic Act 10868, also known as the Centenarians Act of 2016, to honor every centenarian’s century’s contribution to the community. Senior citizens 100 years and above can avail of the Centenarian Program. It aims to inspire all of us to re-evaluate our lifestyles, to take care of our elderly better, and to take care of ourselves.
