The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga’s Home For Girls (HFG) successfully concluded its much-awaited Sports Fest 2024. Spanning from May 3, the event saw enthusiastic participation from the residents in a series of sporting events, culminating in a cheer-dance performance that underscored their unity and spirit.

The Sports Fest featured a variety of competitions, including badminton, volleyball, and basketball, where the girls showcased not only their athletic skills but also their determination and teamwork. The event served as a platform for the residents to express themselves, engage in healthy physical activities, and foster a sense of community within the Home For Girls.

 

Ms. Marissa Garay, the Center Head of HFG, highlighted the importance of the Sports Fest in promoting the well-being of the residents.
