The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga holds the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) Stakeholders’ Forum on Community-Driven Development today, May 08, 2024, at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City.

The primary goal of the activity is to apprise the different stakeholders on the status of the program’s implementation to ensure their continued support and commitment.

The Hon. Ma. Clarita Limbaro (Bayabas, Surigao del Sur Vice Mayor) and Hon. Glaiza Jane Polizon-Lanete (Tagbina, Surigao del Sur Municipal Mayor) shared the limelight as they shared their journey with KALAHI-CIDSS, highlighting the program’s impact on their respective municipalities. They also shared the best practices they have carried out to maximize the impact of CDD in their municipalities.

Another highlight of the said forum is the signing of the Pledge of Commitment by the different stakeholders as a sign of their continued and unwavering support for the program, and the promotion of Community-Driven Development.
