In response to the fire incident that swept through the residential area in Barangays Holy Redeemer, Dumalagan, and Camayahan, Butuan City Agusan del Norte, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga provided food and non-food items (F/NFI) to fifteen (15) affected families, on May 3, 2024.

The said families received the following items: five family food packs (FFPs) each, hygiene kits, kitchen kits, sleeping kits, family kits, and a collapsible water container.

Also, on May 7, 2024, DSWD Field Office Caraga responded to fourteen (14) fire-affected families in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, providing them with the same relief items. Affected families are from barangays Mabini, La Union, Calamba, and Cabinet in the said municipality.

Field Office Caraga remains committed to relentlessly supporting families affected by disasters like fire-related incidents, ensuring they promptly receive the necessary assistance and meet their basic needs.
