The Municipality of Lingig embraced the Listahanan 3 database from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga. Municipal Mayor Elmer Evangelio and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Floranie Aparre received the electronic copy of the Listahanan database during the turnover ceremony on May 6, 2024 in the said municipality.

After the ceremony, the Listahanan team installed the database onto its designated laptop and provided orientation on securely generating and filtering the data.

Regarding compliance with the Data Sharing Guidelines, MSWDO Aparre noted that meeting the requirements was easy, crediting the strong support from Lingig’s officials for the smooth compliance process.

One of the requirements needed to obtain the L3 database is a resolution from the Sangguniang Bayan that authorizes the mayor to enter into MOA with the DSWD.

Based on the Listahanan 3 results, 5079 households or 25,948 individuals were identified poor in Lingig, Surigao del Sur.
