DSWD Field Office Caraga Staff along with Bayugan City Mayor Kirk Asis poses with Lolo Crisanto Benting of Bayugan City as he receives 100K from the Centenarian Program.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, together with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bayugan City, headed by City Mayor Kirk Asis, awards the two Centenarians last May 7, 2024.

 

Tatay Crisanto Benting of Brgy. Sta. Irene and Nanay Andrea Sag-od of Brgy. San Juan were able to receive Certificates of Recognition, Letter of Felicitation from the President of the Philippines, and Php100,000.00 each from DSWD FO Caraga through the Centenarian Program.

Moreover, the two Bayuganons also received Php100,000.00 from the Local Government Unit of Bayugan City through their City Ordinance in replication of Republic Act 10868 also known as the Centenarian Act of 2016.

The Field Office extends congratulations to the family of Lolo Crisanto and Lola Andrea for ensuring the elderlies are well taken care of. Furthermore, expresses Kudos to the City of Bayugan for the unwavering support to the social welfare of senior citizens.
