The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga recently organized an Information Caravan at Francisco C. Jongko Elementary School in Barangay Kauswagan, Cabadbaran City. The event, held on July 24, 2024, aimed to bring the department’s programs and services closer to the local community.

 

Led by the Social Marketing Section (SMS), the information caravan served as a vital platform for the DSWD Field Office to reach out to the public. The initiative also demonstrated the department’s commitment to supporting the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2024.

 

The event not only raised awareness about the various programs and services offered by the DSWD but also provided an opportunity for attendees to voice their concerns and seek clarification on related matters.

 

The DSWD Field Office expressed its gratitude to the teaching staff of Francisco C. Jongko Elementary School, particularly acknowledging the leadership of Principal Mrs. Bernadette Jongko, for providing the venue to promote the department’s advocacies.
