DSWD Field Office Caraga hosted the 2nd Quarter Meeting of the Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs Coordinating Group (RICG)- Rehabilitation and Reintegration Cluster at Conference Room, DSWD Regional Office, Butuan City, June 28, 2024.

The meeting serves as an avenue for all members of the committee to present their significant accomplishments, issues/concerns and recommendations in their respective program implementation in fighting illegal drugs in the country as mandated under E.O. 66 series of 2019 or the Philippine Anti-Drug Strategy (PADS).

Present during the meeting are Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Philippine National Police (PRO-13), Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), Department of Justice-Parole and Probation Administration (DOJ-PPA), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Agriculture (DA), DOH-Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DATRC), Agusan del Sur, DOH-Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DTRC), Surigao City, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-XIII, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that presided the said meeting.

All members of the RICG-Rehabilitation and Reintegration cluster expressed their continuous commitment to support all efforts for the government to fight the use and abuse of illegal drugs.
