DSWD Caraga Distributes Family Food Packs to Food-for-Work Beneficiaries in SurSur, AgSur

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, in coordination with local government units, completed the distribution of Family Food Packs (FFPs) to beneficiaries of the Food-for-Work program in the municipalities of Carrascal, Lianga, Madrid in Surigao del Sur, and San Luis in Agusan del Sur.

Here are the number of beneficiaries per municipality:

* Carrascal, Surigao del Sur: 500 beneficiaries

* Lianga, Surigao del Sur: 437 beneficiaries

* Madrid, Surigao del Sur: 632 beneficiaries

* San Luis, Agusan del Sur: 1,014 beneficiaries

The Food-for-Work program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga encourages community members to engage in various community works and has been instrumental in promoting both community development and food security.
