The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through the National Household Targeting Section, has successfully installed the L3 database to the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Pilar and Soccoro, Surigao del Norte and Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. This is with its desire to continue efforts to promote the Listahanan 3 database to its partner-stakeholders.
These follows after the compliance of the said LGUs of the requirements outlined in the Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
After the installation, the NHTS team conducted an orientation for authorized personnel on using and generating data with the Data Generation and Tracking System (DGTS) application.
According to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Chien Cen Dizon of Socorro, Surigao del Norte, the result of Listahanan 3 database is a big help for the LGU in prioritizing their clients specially that their resources are limited.
With this progress, the LGUs can now easily generate the list of poor households per barangay. Also, they can easily identify potential beneficiaries for their specific programs and services aimed at helping the poor and vulnerable sector.
The data requested by the said LGUs are list of poor households/individuals, household members information, households’ housing condition, health, education and labor and employment.
As to date, a total of 34 LGUs have already access to Listahanan database of DSWD-Listahanan.
