In response to the recent fire incident in Baan Riverside, Butuan City on October 29, 2024, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga provided immediate augmentation support to assist the 33 displaced families.

Recognizing the urgent needs of the affected families, FO Caraga has provided each family with five Family Food Packs (FFPs), 20 modular tents, hygiene kits, kitchen kits, family kits, and sleeping kits, to support them during this challenging time.

DSWD Field Office Caraga continues to monitor the situation, ready to respond to any further needs that may arise as families begin to recover from the fire incident. This proactive effort by the Department reinforces its commitment to supporting communities in times of crisis and ensuring the welfare of its citizens.
