To further enhance the efficiency of the implementation of its programs and services, the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga hosted a two-day Sulong Dunong: Knowledge Sharing Session cum Reorientation on Administrative Policies and Systems on October 10-11, at the Watergate Hotel, Butuan City.
The session convened administrative staff from SLP Provincial Operations Offices, Regional Program Management Office, mainstreamed administrative staff, along with the administrative personnel from the Walang Gutom Program and the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty. It is aimed to improve skills essential for efficient program implementation and streamlined document processing, collaborative planning and brainstorming, and replicate successful strategies across the organization through the sharing of best practices from various provinces.
The key topics discussed were record management, the use of the Enhanced Document Transaction Management System (EDTMS), and mastering the Property Record and Equipment Monitoring Inventory System (PREMIS). Participants also tackled the documentary requirements for contract renewals and catering payments, ensuring a smoother and more efficient workflow.
