The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program, has bridged two more partnerships through the signing of marketing agreements between community-based organizations (CBOs) and demand partners.

EPAHP Program Coordinator Christian Joe Anipan headed the ceremonial signing of Marketing Agreement between the Bancasi Solo Parent SLP Association and the Pinamanculan Dalingdingan Irrigators Association on November 11, 2024 at the Pinamanculan-Dalingdingan (PIDA) Irrigators Association IA Hall, Dalingdingan, Butuan City.

Also on the same date, EPAHP was also able to facilitate the signing of the Marketing Agreement between VJ’s Sportsbar N’ Ihaw-ihaw and the Pinamanculan Dalingdingan Irrigators Association.

Through the partnership, the Pinamanculan Dalingdingan Irrigators Association will supply milled rice to their demand partners, the Bancasi Solo Parent SLP Association and the VJ’s Sportsbar N’ Ihaw-ihaw, both based in Butuan City.

The EPAHP Program led by the DSWD aims to institutionalize efforts to mitigate hunger and promote food and nutrition security by linking CBOs to prospective markets and providing credit assistance to support food production, processing, and distribution.
