In response to the recent demolition of houses in a privately-owned property in P-4, Barangay 3, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga has extended immediate assistance to 40 affected families by providing essential food and non-food items (F-NFI).

The demolition, which left affected families without shelter and necessities, prompted the DSWD to mobilize its Quick Response Team and coordinate with the local government unit of Buenavista to ensure the prompt delivery of aid.

FO Caraga provided each family with two family food packs (FFPs) to help sustain them through this challenging time, along with hygiene kits, kitchen kits, and sleeping kits to meet their essential needs.

The Angels in Red Vests of FO Caraga worked with urgency and care to ensure no one was left without essential items, hoping to bring comfort and relief to those affected.
