Thirty-four personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga successfully concluded a 7-day validation augmentation for the Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) payout in the Davao Region, held from December 11 to 17, 2024.
Families who received the ECT in the region were those affected by the trough of the low-pressure area during the first quarter of 2024, helping them get back on their feet after the challenges they faced.
The augmentation effort reflects the Department’s unity and shared commitment to achieving a common goal: to serve more people needing our assistance.
Moreover, DSWD continues to work hand-in-hand with various stakeholders to address the needs of disaster-affected families, fulfilling its mission to provide immediate and long-term solutions for recovery and development.
