The Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS), in collaboration with the Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) of Sibagat, Agusan del Sur, conducted a bamboo planting activity as part of the preparatory efforts for the upcoming Panahon ng Pagkilos: Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP).
This initiative, serving as a lead-up to the official launch of PCRP later this year, aims to promote environmental protection and conservation while strengthening community resilience. The event aligns with the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) broader advocacy of equipping communities to tackle challenges through collective action.
The Panahon ng Pagkilos: PCRP is the successor to KALAHI-CIDSS’ National Community-Driven Development Program (NCDDP) – Additional Financing (AF).
