In Barangay Diaz, Tubajon, partner-beneficiaries are actively working on the development of a communal vegetable garden and the construction of a small farm reservoir. Meanwhile, in Barangay Llamera, Libjo, Tubajon, partner-beneficiaries are on their 14th day of CFW activities, which include communal vegetable gardening, diversification of water sources, construction of a small farm reservoir, and rehabilitation of local fishponds.

These projects are part of LAWA at BINHI’s integrated approach to addressing water scarcity and food insecurity in vulnerable communities.
Following the CFW implementation, beneficiaries will undergo a two-day training on sustainability. This aims to equip them with the knowledge and skills to maintain and manage the projects effectively. Once turned over by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, these projects are expected to continue providing essential water and food resources for the communities.
