To ensure sustained compliance and service quality, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through its Standards Section, conducted a monitoring visit on April 23, 2025, to the Home for Girls and Abused Women Center operated by the Local Government Unit of Bislig City.
The monitoring team conducted a thorough inspection of the facility to safeguard the safety, welfare, and overall well-being of its residents. In addition to the physical inspection, the team also reviewed key documents, particularly social case studies, to assess the quality of services being provided.
This monitoring activity is part of the DSWD’s regulatory function to ensure that Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) within the region uphold the standards for delivering effective and responsive social welfare programs and services to their clients.
