A total of 500 partner beneficiaries of Project LAWA at BINHI received their compensation this week across the provinces of Agusan del Norte and the Dinagat Islands.

Of the total, 200 beneficiaries are from Barangay Llamera in Libjo, and 100 are from Barangay Diaz in Tubajon—both located in the Province of Dinagat Islands (PDI). The remaining 200 beneficiaries are from the municipality of Jabonga in Agusan del Norte.
Each beneficiary received Php 7,700 as compensation for their 20-day participation in the implementation of the project.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through its Project LAWA at BINHI—Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished—continues to address the urgent challenges of water scarcity and food insecurity in vulnerable communities.
