Introducing the unique and exciting Pineapple Wine, crafted by the Pineapple Grower Farmers Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association from the town of Basilisa in the Province of Dinagat Islands. Like other fruit wines, pineapple wine carries the natural sweetness and tanginess of fresh pineapples. Moreover, it contains no artificial flavoring or chemical additives, allowing you to truly savor the fruit’s natural aroma and taste with every sip.
Each bottle of pineapple wine is carefully handcrafted by members of the association—hardworking farmers and senior citizens from their community. The production follows traditional methods, where every step is given enough time and attention. From carefully harvesting, washing, and crushing the pineapples to the natural fermentation process, it is all done with great patience and care to ensure high quality and a distinct flavor in every bottle.
With the support of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), they successfully brought this project to life—from conceptualizing the idea and starting production to acquiring necessary equipment and receiving vital knowledge and training. All of this became the foundation for the smooth, efficient, and sustainable operation of their livelihood.
Today, their product is gradually gaining recognition in different areas—a result of the collective effort and dedication of the association’s members, along with the support of the program, which continues to promote the quality and excellence of their one-of-a-kind pineapple wine.
