As part of the Cash-for-Training program under Stage 1 of Project LAWA at BINHI (Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished), partner beneficiaries in Mainit, Surigao del Norte, participated in a hands-on learning session on Oriental Herbal Nutrients (OHN) production.

Oriental Herbal Nutrients, one of the community’s identified projects, serves multiple purposes—it acts as a natural soil fertilizer, insect repellent, and vegetable growth enhancer, promoting sustainable and organic farming practices.
This training equips participants with valuable knowledge and practical skills to enhance agricultural productivity while maintaining eco-friendly farming methods.
With this initiative, Project LAWA at BINHI continues to foster community resilience by equipping farmers with innovative yet accessible approaches to agriculture, ensuring that development is both inclusive and sustainable.
