Esperanza, Agusan del Sur — On Saturday, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, led by Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD) Chief Aldie Mae Andoy, successfully conducted a Project LAWA at BINHI payout in one of Esperanza’s remote areas.
A total of 350 partner-beneficiaries received their compensation—215 from Barangay Oro, 65 from Barangay Mac Arthur, and 70 from Barangay Cebulan.
Each beneficiary received Php 7,700 for their 20-day involvement in the project’s implementation. It is important to note that it was not financial assistance, but compensation for the work they rendered.
