BUTUAN CITY – A total of 2,145 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries from Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte claimed their cash cards from Landbank Butuan branch on March 27, 2010.

Beneficiaries patiently waited for their turn to get their cash cards. They were excited to have their cash cards because they can now get their subsidy through the Automated Teller Machine (ATM), which is easier and hassle-free compared to Over-the-counter (OTC) release.

The municipality of Las Nieves has been a 4Ps area since 2009; it has a total number of 2,219 beneficiaries.

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or most commonly known as 4Ps is one of the flagship programs of the National government in poverty reduction and social development. It provides cash grants to the poorest household to improve their health, nutrition and education especially the 0-14 year’s old children.
