The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga received five (5) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-Caraga through PRC Regional Director Rotelo B. Cabugsa, under the Republic Act No. 10912, otherwise known as the “Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Act of 2016.”
“I encourage you to maximize this opportunity to have all your capability building, and institutional development programs be accredited to ensure that CPD credits be enjoyed in the field of social welfare and development,” RD Cabugsa noted.
Moreover, PRC-Caraga vows to provide the Field Office with necessary technical assistance, and to sustain the partnership and collaboration of both Agencies.
The certificates handed by Dir. Cabugsa are the following:
(1) DSWD Field Office Caraga as CPD Program Provider; (2) Training-Workshop on Alternative Family Care and Community-Based Management Batches 1-3; and (3) Training on Women-Friendly Space for LSWDOs and DSWD Staff.
DSWD FO Caraga represented by OIC-Regional Director Ramel F. Jamen, is the fifth Agency to receive PRC’s accreditation in Caraga.
“I just want to say thank you PRC-Caraga for granting us the certificate of CPD accreditation. Truly, this will boost our morale being the service provider of all LSWDOs and LGUs implementing social welfare and development (SWD) programs and services in Caraga Region,” Jamen said.
