The first Quick Response Team in the newly-launched Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during the onset of Typhoon Odette.

To ensure the fast tracking of situational updates coming from the Local Government Units (LGUs) to the Agency, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga activates its virtual Emergency Operation Center (EOC). This is to maximize the means of real time dissemination of information needed in the preparation for the Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Odette as it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) today.

Through the Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD), the said virtual EOC is exclusively for Local Social Welfare Development Offices (LSWDOs) and Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (DRRMOs) to accommodate their queries and other concerns whenever a possible augmentation is needed in their respective localities.

Furthermore, to ensure the responsive data generation, LGUs are also guided in their Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) reports to update the disaster-related database.
