A total of 313 community subprojects under NCDDP-AF, PAMANA IP-CDD, and KKB modalities implemented by the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) were completed in Caraga Region in 2021.

KALAHI-CIDSS or the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services is one of the poverty alleviation programs of the government being implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). KALAHI-CIDSS uses CDD (Community-Driven Development) as the over-all community development approach and strategy. The CDD approach ensures that development priorities are addressed in a participatory, collective, inclusive, and in demand-driven way.

Under National Community-Driven Development Program – Additional Financing (NCDDP-AF), 13 subprojects were completed, 11 are still ongoing, and 114 are yet to be started.

For Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan – Indigenous People Community-Driven Development (PAMANA IP-CDD), 290 subprojects were completed, three are still ongoing, and seven are yet to be started.

Under Kapangyarihan at Kaunlaran sa Barangay (KKB), all 10 subprojects have already been completed.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, KALAHI-CIDSS have adopted the Disaster Response Operation Modality (DROM), allowing the program to shift from developmental activities into a disaster-response modality to immediately address health issues.
