To discuss the implementation of the various peace programs of the National Government and highlight each Region’s accomplishments and best practices, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, participated in the 1st Kumustahan with the EO70 and other Peace Program Teams in Mindanao Cluster held at Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City last May 11-13, 2022.

Attendees during the said event were DSWD Usec. Rene Glenn Paje and other representatives from the different DSWD Field Offices in Mindanao.

Field Office Caraga was represented by Ms. Iona Cielo Azarcon (Field Office Caraga EO70 Regional Focal Person), Ms. Ester V. Villamor (KALAHI CIDSS/ Kalahi-CIDSS Pamana Deputy Regional Program Coordinator), and Rodel Crizaldo (LSG Focal Person).

The group was able to discuss issues and concerns in the implementation of the different programs and services of the Agency which forms part of the programs and services of the EO70 implementation of the National Government, where DSWD is actively implementing programs for.#
