In Frame: DRMD Chief Melanie G. Juan and NRLMB CAO Corazon Macaraeg on their courtesy call to Butuan City Mayor which was accommodated by City Administrator Atty. Joseph Ian Sabado.

The team visited the Butuan City Mayor’s Office and was accommodated by City Administrator Atty. Joseph Ian Sabado on behalf of Mayor Ronnie V. Lagnada who happened to be attending an equally important event.

Mayor Lagnada extends his total support in the establishment of the MDRC here in the City. LGU Butuan is grateful and feels privileged for being chosen as the Agency’s MDRC site.

Once operational, MDRC relief augmentation and other disaster-response-related roles would be swifter and accessible even to the nearby regions in Mindanao.
