The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office (FO) Caraga – Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Program (SocPen) conducts annual Technical Sharing to Local Social Welfare and Development Office (LSWDO) Focal Persons for Social Pension, April 27, 2023 and May 4, 2023.

Participants of the activity are Focal Persons of the LSWDOs from the different Provinces of Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands.

Social Pension Program Management Office (SPPMO) Focal Person Rachel B. Bade stressed the significance of proper coordination amongst stakeholders and beneficiaries especially in catering to grievances that can be proactively avoided or addressed through efficient and effective communication.

Furthermore, discussions were centered on the required deliverables in the implementation process of the program. Moreover, it is an avenue to update participants of all pertinent guidelines of the program and level off on the issues and concerns that need immediate action by the Social Pension Program Management Office (SPPMO).
