Butuan City – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga together with Butuan City Congressman Law Fortun distributed a total of 7,500 pieces of family packs to affected families of Butuan City and Las Nieves due to Low pressure and Tropical Depression Agaton.

Congressman Law Fortun in his short message in one of the evacuation center in Butuan City yesterday thanked DSWD Caraga for the quick response in providing relief goods to the victims TD Agaton not just in Butuan City but to other municipalities and provinces as well.

To date, a total of 44, 097 family packs were distributed to 27 greatly affected Local Government Units (LGUs) in the region amounting to Php 13, 300, 32.

DSWD Caraga Quick Response Team (QRT) still continues to render 24-hour duty to monitor the situation in the affected areas. ### (Social Marketing Unit/ Stella Maris V. Barcelon)
