DSWD FO Caraga’s Fire Brigade Teams along with the BFP Butuan evaluators.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga conducted an evaluated Fire Drill, on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Butuan as the evaluator.

 

The Field Office obtained a SATISFACTORY rating with commendable execution of the emergency simulation, especially the facility exit procedure. The drill aims to have the workers familiar with emergency procedures in order to enhance safe and quick evacuation during emergencies such as fire incidents.

BFP Butuan also commended the Field Office for the high turn-out of staff participating during the drill (more or less 98% of all staff on duty), even convincing the clients to take part in the Fire Drill.

 

The said fire drill activity formed part of the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) celebration of the Field Office, which is celebrated in July of every year.
